About

Hi, my name is Kirsten! Welcome to my blog! I graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Louisville in December 2012, with a BA in English and a minor in Communication. I’ve always loved to read because when you open a book, you can go anywhere, do anything, and be anything. I have cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair to get around. I am currently the chairperson of the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs’ Youth Advisory Council and feel blessed to interact with the amazing youth on this council. I love watching sports on TV, especially figure skating and gymnastics. People tell me I have a great smile and a great outlook on life. I want to help others be happy. Life is not perfect or easy, but that doesn’t mean that life can’t be good.

  1. Kirsten, keep smiling and stay positive. Our outlook in life determines who we are and what we leave behind. It may not be much but to the people who are touched, it may be a world. ❤

  2. I love ❤️ you. And I admire all you are doing! Keep up the great work, and remember, We Love your smile! I hope you are going to the pool often.
